Reinforcement and Concrete Work
This is one of the most traditional and essential uses.
Concrete Reinforcement: Welded wire mesh (WWM) or fabric is laid within concrete slabs, walls, and pavements to provide tensile strength, control cracking, and distribute loads evenly. It is a faster alternative to manually tying rebar.
Shotcrete/Gunite Support: Mesh is used to reinforce soil and rock slopes in tunneling and excavation projects. It holds the shotcrete in place and adds structural integrity to retaining walls.
Masonry Reinforcement: Thin, sheet-like mesh is embedded in the mortar between bricks or concrete blocks to strengthen the wall against lateral forces and cracking.
